PTE Training – Dates, Centers, Sample Papers, & Tips
Pearson's Test of English (PTE) is an English language competence test similar to TOEFL. The PTE, like other examinations, is used to assess a non-native speaker's English communication skills and can assist colleges to determine if a student can grasp course material if it is taught fully in English. The PTE is also used by nations as a criterion for English proficiency as part of their immigration programs.
Feature of PTE
People from non-native English-speaking countries typically take the PTE Exam to study or immigrate to English-speaking countries.
The PTE exam scores are recognized by many colleges throughout the world as a criterion for admission.
Many top-ranked colleges, such as Harvard, Yale, and INSEAD, use PTE scores as part of their admissions criteria.
To take the PTE, candidates must be at least 16 years old.
Candidates under the age of 18 must provide proof of parental consent.
